Robin R. Winner
CEO & Board Member
Rob Winner brings a 25-year record of software and technology industry
success - spanning engineering, executive management and entrepreneurship -
to his role as CEO of HardMetrics. Rob co-founded HardMetrics with
Don Saunders in 2003, grounded in the philosophy that performance management
solutions should reflect deep functionality to support monitoring and analysis
of complex enterprise wide business processes, but at the same time be quick
and easy to implement, use and maintain.
Rob, a recognized industry expert in analytics and business performance management (BPM) solutions joined HardMetrics from SoftMetric, Inc., which he founded in 1998. There, he pioneered the development of the first BPM product for the customer service and call center sector. After SoftMetric's 2001 acquisition by divine, inc., it quickly became one of the top performers in the company's portfolio of Customer Interaction Management solutions. Prior to SoftMetric, Rob was SVP/CTO of ALTA Analytics, a developer of advanced data visualization software for link analysis and network/organizational analytics. Under Rob's leadership, the company successfully introduced its flagship software product, NetMap, to the commercial market, targeting claims fraud detection and analysis in the commercial property/casualty insurance sector.
As VP of Aston Brooke Consulting, Rob was a senior member of the team that developed and launched DBVision, the first commercially available database performance monitor for Oracle. At Aston Brooke, Rob initiated research in performance management, statistical process control, Six Sigma, generalized measurement and monitoring and time-series analysis, to apply the disciplinary approach of DBVision to commercial business processes.
Prior to joining Aston Brooke, Rob founded Winner Network Inc., which designed and developed numerous systems for global pharmaceutical companies, including Merck, Rhone-Poulenc, and Rorer. Systems developed and deployed for these pharmaceutical giants included sales force tracking and monitoring, sales force automation, sales force alignment, drug distribution analysis and MEDICAID compliance monitoring and reporting. Earlier in his career, Rob served as a management and technology consultant to the CTO of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, where he oversaw several technology initiatives and the deployment of detection and analytical software for insider trading analysis.
Rob received his BA from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA.
